Napa Valley and Sonoma School:
Matias earned a degree in winemaking and gained experience working in California (Napa Valley and Sonoma) before returning home to Mendoza to make wines from the family vineyards.
The Bertona family
Arrived in Argentina and started growing grapes in Mendoza in 1896. They left their vineyards in the Piedmont region of Italy to start a new life in Argentina. They have grown grapes continually and now the fifth generation, Matias Bertona, is making some very inspirational wines.
Our Cause
We are heavily involved in a children’s charity that helps kids in impoverished areas of Argentina, and a small part of each bottle sold goes towards that charity.
